Primacolor grows abroad thanks to its know-how and experience in the coloring of synthetic fibers.

24 July 2015

Primacolor, always involved in the internationalization policy promoted by the Arcoplex Group, has become a supplier of masterbatches for coloring synthetic fibers of major European companies.

In addition to ensuring high standards of quality in time, excellent dispersion of the organic and inorganic pigments and constant reproducibility of the tone of each color, Primacolor is able to produce mutiple sample types of thread with different resins, thanks to a pilot plant. With the aid of its equipment may then transform the wire into products similar to those produced by final customers, simulating in laboratory all the possible production problems.

Primacolor was selected among various companies in the sector, due to its ability to develop tailor-made masterbatch for the coloration of synthetic fibers of polypropylene (PP) and polyester (PET) intended for technical yarns for clothing, characterized by bright colors and high- visibility, useful and pleasant for the sporting activities but also able to with stand the most difficult conditions, typical of extreme sports.

Other strategic area of development for Primacolor is the production of nautical ropes characterized by colors which must be able to withstand the challenging conditions of the marine environment such as: aggression from the intense sunlight, brackish water and other atmospheric agents.
