Arcoplex Group was founded in 1958 in Seregno (Monza-Brianza). It was founded by Pierluigi Brenna, who, ahead of his time, saw the revolutionary technical potential of plastics in many advanced industrial applications.

Starting in the 1990s, Arcoplex Group began a profound transformation of its organizational model under the leadership of Giacomo Scanzi, who joined in 1994 as General Manager before becoming CEO in 2004.
A new business model was developed with a focus on technical product consultation as a service preceding any sales negotiations.
Our strengths lie in experience, training and knowledge of the industry, qualities that allow us to expand our sales network and approach the market in a completely different way.

History
In 2007, we renovated the company headquarters in Pontirolo Nuovo (Bergamo), in the heart of northern Italy’s largest chemical district. From this point on, Arcoplex Group quickly expanded its portfolio of products and services, with the significant acquisition in 2011 of Primacolor Srl and Raiex Spa, which increased its production capacity. Between 2013 and 2014, the operating structure was reconfigured with the foundation of subsidiaries Resinmix Srl and Powderex Srl.
The Bergamo hub was expanded in 2018, becoming the headquarters for all company operations. This to the creation of a new semi-automatic warehouse with power supplied by a nearly 3000-m² photovoltaic system, which is capable of covering a large part of our operational needs.
In 2019, the subsidiaries merged into one, creating Arcoplex Group Srl as it is today.
A company from another generation
Today’s values remain those of the company’s beginnings. Including the commitment to always place relationships first.
Despite its growth, Arcoplex Group has chosen to maintain its family-oriented model, both in its relationships with partners and suppliers, and in its interactions with its own people. All this without ceasing to look at the younger generations.
In 2015, the company initiated a gradual generational transition extending to all managerial roles, in order to maintain a dynamic attitude and always remain one step ahead. A path initiated by Giacomo Scanzi himself, who—while still serving today as the company’s CEO—has, over time, supported the professional growth of his children Giulia and Carlo, leading to their appointment in 2016 as General Manager and Commercial Director, respectively. An evolution that has laid the foundations for a new chapter in a company that still strives to go further.
In 2024, Giacomo Scanzi was appointed Chairman, while Giulia and Carlo took on the roles of Executive Directors, further strengthening the Group’s continuity and long-term vision.
A breakthrough year for sustainability
The year 2024 was a watershed year for Arcoplex Group, which strengthened its commitment to environmental, social and governance sustainability.
Obtaining the ISO 14064 Organization Carbon Footprint certification testifies to the company’s desire to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and optimize the impact of production activities. The materiality analysis and ESG Assessment enabled the identification of strategic areas for improvement to ensure increasingly responsible development.
We invest in renewable energy with photovoltaic systems and electric charging stations, promoting an energy efficiency-oriented business model.
ISCC PLUS certification ensures traceability of raw materials, while the adoption of UNI PdR 125:2022 enshrines our commitment to gender equality and inclusion.
With our first Sustainability Report covering the year 2023. , we want to strengthen the relationship with our stakeholders and attract customers who share our values.
