Ethylene-co-Octene (ECO) is a copolymer composed of ethylene and octene. It is a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) that combines the elastic properties of rubber with the processability of thermoplastic materials. It is known for its excellent flexibility, fatigue resistance, and gas barrier properties.

Technical Properties

  • Appearance: Transparent or opaque
  • Density: 0.86 – 0.90 g/cm³
  • Melt Flow Index (MFI): 0.5 – 30 g/10 min (at 190°C/2.16 kg)
  • Melting Temperature: 40 – 70°C
