Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymers are thermoplastic polymers made from ethylene and vinyl acetate, offering greater elasticity compared to polyethylene.
These materials are distinguished by their excellent processability, flexibility, and compatibility, with improved cohesion and adhesion to various substrates due to the polar groups in their structure. Adhesion increases with the vinyl acetate content.
Under the Primeva® brand, Repsol produces EVA copolymers for applications such as hot melt adhesives, films, and microcellular foams.
