Food Safety: All Repsol’s manufacturing facilities obtained FSSC 22000

Arcoplex Group is pleased to inform You that, its historical partner, Repsol Quimica is the first producer of polyolefins to have obtained the Food Safety Certificate according to the norm FSSC 22000 for all its manufacturing facilities.

To reach this important goal Repsol has implemented the system for Food Safety Management to guarantee the compliance with all the necessary requirements.

This proves the effort of Repsol in keeping Food Safety as a top priority in developing new products, to guarantee the supply of articles safe for the final consumer.

Rafael Jiménez, Business Unit Polyolefins Manager states that:”Repsol aims at becoming the leading producer of polyolefins compliant with food safety requirements”. Moreover, Repsol is now developing the Naturep project, going beyond legal requirements, aiming at eliminate from its polyolefins any additive subjected to migration limit, to protect the people and the sustainability. “Thanks to Naturep, Repsol wants to preserve consumers’ health and help to eliminate the current obstacles to recycling processes”, added Jiménez.

This confirms the effort and the leading position of Repsol in food safety and its expertise in this field, allowing the Company to add value and offering advanced and specific solutions to its customers, final consumers and the environment.
